Welcome to Market Acu

Thanks for visiting our new site. My name is Mark Whalen and I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Reading, MA. I’ve been in practice for 16 years, the last 10 in private practice.

Since I was a student, I was never fully satisfied with how acupuncture was explained -how it works and what it can do. I’ve spent my career so far trying to learn as much as I can to combine the knowledge of the past with the latest scientific understandings of the mechanisms of how we do what we do.
